VHPA: 1LT Deceased 23 June 2013 From Trinidad, CO. Flt Class 71-28. Armor Branch. Birth 07/13/1947

Pete Holmberg: I knew him well. We both graduated in 1969 from the college of forestry at Colorado State University where I first met him. I don’t remember if he went to OCS like me; if so, he wasn’t in my class. I think he was in my flight school class as we went to RVN on the same plane. I’m pretty sure he went to 101 Abn like me at first, but different unit—we both discussed applying to go there as it was our impression there was still some action up north. Anyhoo, we eventually both ended up in F-4 after 101 went back to Ft Campbell in Feb ‘72. Seems like Greg DROSed in the June timeframe due to some early out opportunity. Lost contact with him after that, but I think Steve Suiter communicated with him at least for a while.

Steve Suiter(May 2019): I worked with Greg Wilson for 1/2 year in Arizona thinning forests for the Forest Service. I lost track of him shortly after that when he left Albuquerque for parts unknown. Sorry I don't have more up to date information.
Steve Suiter

Ron Radcliffe (May 2019): Said that it was a "Wilson" who was flying the slick that came in to help LaBore get Martindale's body on the 28 April 1972 battle. That's the day Radcliffe and LaBore did in a tank with a White Phosphorous Grenade.
