Watch the 2016 Cav Reunion Video from Bob Forringer where he was flying left seat in an LOH when Larry Turley the pilot and Ken Taylor, Crew Chief back seat, were hit by enemy fire. Bob, on one of his first missions in the unit, used the "Broomstick" cyclic in the left seat to pilot the aircraft to the 12th Medivac Hospital. Larry was sent home.
