Jerry Don Spicer, 75, passed away in Ennis, Texas on Thursday, May 9, 2019.

Jerry was born in Corsicana, Texas on July 2, 1943 to J.W. and Arlea (Garrison) Spicer. He grew up in Ennis, Texas and attended Ennis High School. He has been married to Linda Richardson for thirty-three years. Jerry served his country proudly in the United States Army as a Ranger for over fourteen years in Korea, Germany and during the Vietnam War.

After Jerry finished serving in the Army he worked as a short haul truck driver. He was a member of Anthony Drive Baptist Church, VFW and American Legion. He enjoyed working on the computer, reading novels and Old Western Movies.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Spicer; sons: J.D. Spicer and William Spicer; brothers: Doug Spicer and wife, Anita and Kenneth Spicer and wife, Dorothy; sister, Margaret Dunlap and husband, Ricky and a granddaughter, Kaylin; step-daughter, Rexann Crum and husband, Scot;two step-grandchildren as well as a host of extended family and friends.
