Obituary : Edward G. Sojda, age 73 of Hamburg, NY passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023 at his home. Beloved husband of Michele (nee Bogner) Sojda; dear father of Joshua T. (Suzanne), Scott M. (Nicole), Courtney M. Sojda. 12 Jul 1949 to 11 Jan 2023
Cherished grandfather of five grandchildren: Jack, Lillian, Abigail, Oliver, and Emma Sojda; and loving brother to Ronald, Michael and Kevin (Toni Lynn) Sojda.
He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Bernice(nee Darmstedter) Sojda. Edward was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He worked for Buffalo Forge and HVAC Equipment as a sales engineer. He was active in his community coaching Hamburg hockey and Hamburg Junior baseball and softball teams while his kids were growing up.
