Thomas M. Vreeland, 75, of Mutton Hill Rd., Cazenovia, NY, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at home with his family with him..He was born on July 22, 1947 in Syracuse, a son of the late Raymond W. and Elizabeth Nycz.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict and was honorably discharged in 1971. Tom had been a truck driver and a self-employed carpenter. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing.Surviving are his children, Thomas 'TJ' (Michele) Vreeland, Jr. of East Syracuse; Jennifer (Darrin Griffith) Vreeland of Syracuse; Bryan Vreeland of CO and Michael Vreeland of Cazenovia; his beloved companion/wife of 30 years, Mari DeMont; a sister, Gayle (David) Land of MN; brother, Eric (Laura) Vreeland of Skaneateles; a grandson, Bryan Vreeland, Jr.; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his canine companion, Centaur.
