John J. Spencer, Jr - Centaur 6 - April 03, 2012 at 02:39 PM...Linda,
Our prayers go out to you and the boys you and Dan are turning into men. Dan was a man's man and reminder of Errol Flynn, a swash buckeling hero. He was an inspiration to all who knew him and I was ezpecially blessed to have had him as one of my Platoon Leaders. I never had to worry about His men as he always had everything under control. I want you to know that the Centaurs have your back and only ask that you let us know what me may do to assist you and you continue on. God Bless you, --John
Carol Miller (Russ Miller's Wife)- April 03, 2012 at 08:37 PM--Linda,
Know that I am here for you and understand your loss. Dan was a wonderful guy. Russ thought so much of him and I know they are together sharing old stories. You are in my thoughts and
prayers.
Pete & Mary Holmberg - April 05, 2012 at 04:54 PM --Dear Linda,
Dan was a top-rate combat leader, a great human being, and a loyal friend. I know I speak for many when I say that were it not for Dan's resolute and competent leadership, many of us would not have made it back. May prayer is for the repose of Dan's soul and for your blessing and well-being.
With affection, --Pete (Centaur 12) and Mary Holmberg
