Demos Davis Johnson, Jr., age 65, passed away, Saturday, November 7, 2009. Mr. Johnson was a native of Live Oak, FL, a member of the Nazarene Faith and he retired from the Army after 21 years of service, serving in the Vietnam War. He was also a member of VFW Post #7909 and he enjoyed gardening and computers. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Serafina Johnson, his son, Demos Davis Johnson, III, a step-son, Rogelio Lorenzo, two daughters, Donna Sue Johnson, Dilsa Johnson, a sister, Dorothy Pacheco and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 12:00pm in the chapel of Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville, FL with Pastor Chris Drums officiating followed by interment in Jacksonville National Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 - 8:00pm Wednesday.

We were recently notified that Demos D Johnson CO F 75th
Rangers passed away in November of 2008 by Tim Walsh
(President of F CO) and Joe Little (1st Vice President of the
75th RRA). His family did not know who to call or
somehow was unable to contact us. Please inform your
loved ones so that we may assist them when they need us.
We are sending his family an engraved silver coin and a
certificate from the 75th RRA. I only wish we could have
been there for his family earlier.
