Jerry Shelton: I believe WO1 Evans volunteered to go up North with us, he was scheduled to DEROS home. He had been flying up north with the 101st and had knowledge of the area. Captains Voorhees and Barber persuaded him to extend for a few days until we could gain knowledge of I corps. I have pictures of Creeping Jesus (UH-1H) taken after her recovery from shoot down 2 May 1972. A March 72 accident would have been in 3 corps, April she would have up North.
