From Centaur Dave Bossory:
Thank you so much for putting together the page for my FRIEND and fellow Centaur Frances Dalcour!!!
Although John Williams gave me Joe's phone number, in spite of repeated attempts over a number of years I was never able to contact him.
Joe was very proud to serve as a Centaur Crew Chief (Hog 659433). I was his gunner from around May 67 - Nov / Dec 68. We had many of which you might call " adventures" during that time span.
He really enjoyed having Centaur 40 on board ( CPT Wilde , CPT Johnson , 1LT Charlie Johnson ), and was always disappointed if we returned without getting powder dust on our faces!
I have thought of him countless times over the years, he will always have a special place in my memories, as will all the other Centaurs I was fortunate enough to serve with! ......Dave
