Prilliman

Tom Fleming (Troop Cdr 67): D Troop Operations kept a green log book on a daily basis ( by Bill Vinson) that recorded all the daily operations. I have asked before what happened to it with no response,, but that was before when we had a small audience. It may be that Vinson kept it or Lt Priliman or one of the operations crew when they left. It would be a real boon to us if we could recover it.

Bob Graham (Opns Off 66): During my time as Centaur 3, I did not personally maintain an event/activity log. When I moved into Maj Peter Moores' vacuum it was never mentioned and I was never made aware of such a journal.

It is one of my omissions and regrets. My task/pact/charge by Maj Pete was to plan, brief and fly with him in the C & C all the more complex multi craft/team missions I could possibly handle. The light and Heavy scouts handled their own part of posting the mission board for routine stuff. Maj Prosser as XO and I had an absolute 24 hour a day smooth, mutually supporting, operational relationship and each did what was ever necessary in each other absence. We shared Maj Pete's troop, near precision battle drill vision of combat operations. There were records(?), and an operations clerk, unfortunately I did not involve myself with the details of their function and they kept what ever record were mandatory. Fight records, tracking Air Medals ect. Lt./Capt Allred 66-67 was assistant Operations for quite a period while healing, he may have light to shed on this early period of operations. I think he is on Carl Burns EMail list.

Who were the operations staff members of the times by name, just maybe a direct contact would be rewarding, Anyone know of them by name and maybe an Email address? I can remember meeting some a past reunions!
