Obituary:
Ottmer Bruce Mitchell was born on August 19, 1944 and passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018. Ottmer was a resident of West Virginia at the time of passing.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a former firefighter at Silverton Volunteer Fire Department.
Funeral service were held Tuesday, February 6th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Mark Williams officiating. Visitation was from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Burial with Military Rites were performed by the Jackson County Honor Guard at the Independence Cemetery, Sandyville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Silverton Volunteer Fire Department.
