OBITUARY Easley, SC
The body of SGT James Donald Clardy, 20, of Rt 4, Easley, Mt. Pisgah community, who died in Vietnam Sept 26, is being returned here for funeral services and burial. SGT Clardy was a native of Greenville County, a son of TW and Louree Lolls Clardy and lived in Anderson County most of his life. He was a 1965 graduate of Wren high school, a member of the Football team and held a FFA master farmer's degree. He was a member of the Block W Club, the high school track team and had taught Sunday school at. Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. He was attached to a Special Forces team Green Berets. Surviving also are his paternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs Earnest Clardy of Pelzer. General services will be conducted at Mt Pisgah Baptist Church Saturday at 4pm by Rev Hubert Bishop. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be a military detachment from Ft Gordon. The body is expected to arrive in Easley at 12:20pm Friday, and will be taken the home Friday at 4pm.
