I am living in Traverse City, Michigan on Lake Leelanau. After the service I worked for an aerospace company, Howmet Corporation, for just over 40 years. Our company manufactures turbine airfoils for all gas turbines in the Western World. The company has 29 manufacturing plants in 8 countries. All commercial and all military aircraft use our cast turbine airfoils. The company gave me many technical "opportunities" around the U. S. and moved us 13 times. Traverse City is home number 14 and our retirement location.
My wife Sera (Sera Ruth Soderstrom) and I have been married 50 years this December. We have 4 sons and 6 grand children; two girls and four boys.
My list of experiences is 95% positive events. I'll share a couple at a later time.
