I was at Tan My during June 1972-Jan 73. I was on the last flight out of Saigon before Nixon announced the cease fire which froze everything for several weeks.
I got reassigned as Cobra Platoon Leader of the Air Cav Troop of the 3d ACR at Fort Bliss. I got out of the Army in August 1974 to attend law school in Sacramento, CA. I served with the 126 Medevac Company of the CA National Guard in Sacramento. Later I moved back to South Florida and served with/commanded “Miami Medevac” detachment at Perry Airport. Now I am back in Aviation for the state of Florida.
