The best I remember I carried an M-16 for several months and then finally got a 38 pistol. Seems to me that Jim Keirsey had a Thompson sub-machine gun.
I did not leave country until after the cease fire took effect. It was probably February 8, 1973. I spent the rest of my Army time at Ft. Knox in another Air Cav Troop, C/7/1 and then moved to Little Rock in 1975 where we have been ever since. Ron
