SP5 Michael K. "Mike" Hogan: I was with D troop from February 67 until December of 67. Prior to that, I was in Headquarters troop and after that I was stationed with the 36th Evac Hospital until March 28, 1968.
I had two medics under me and I was in charge of the infirmary. The LRRP Unit had their own medic. That medic and I pulled most of the med evacs as the two medics under me were non-combatants and seldom went to the field. I also went on ambushes, search and destroy missions and medical missions to nearby villages.
