9Jul2019: I go by Dennis. I believe the moniker Tennessee Valley was just local to us. My recollection was it was South of the A Shah Valley.
Going back through some other pictures plus my foggy memory, the mission that day (destroyed Tanks) may have been to the Wonder (also called Wunder) Beach area which were sand dunes South of the twin Steeples.
The photos of Chicom tanks knocked out during the Easter offensive are shown on my MyPage as MP's. Note that the crew's we're chained to the tanks to prevent them from cutting and running. So much for dedication to the communist cause
I will go through some other pictures . I think I have one of CW2 Waggoner who was actually flying right seat that day (reference MP1). I think the crew chief was just in the seat for the photo op. I think the info on Bowen is accurate. He and I served together in Hawaii and then again with Bell Helicopter in Iran. I visited his Ozark house a few years back. I know his first tour was with Apache Troop 1/9 Cav. I see posts from him occasionally on Facebook .
