I was the Scout Platoon Leader from 1971 to 1972. I don't remember the months. I was a contemporary of Don Borey. My tour was shortened to 9 months and I was the Ops Officer the last month.
Don Borey: Jim and I were in the FAA after a few years. Last contact I had was a couple of years ago. He used to be an inspector in the Baton Rouge FSDO when I was an attorney in the Southwest region some 40 years ago. When he was OPs Officer I was Assist Ops for awhile. We lost contact for probably 15 years after Vietnam.
