From Ed Wolfe: Steve Bow was a OH-6 pilot in the Centaurs and after leaving active duty, he was a NJ State Trooper and eventually became a helicopter pilot for the NJSP. He also was a member of the NJARNG. The last time I saw Steve was in 1987 when he was invited to attend a planning meeting of a new USAR unit at NAS Willow Grove, PA. Our new CO was originally with the NJARNG and pulled some pilots and crew members from the NJ Guard to the USAR. Steve was then a CW4 like me, but he did not tranfer to the USAR He was better off with the NJ Guard since it was closer to his home and work.
