Email Request: info@indianawarmemorials.org - 25 Sep 2026:

Reference your Display of AH-1S Cobra 67-15540. A book named AH-1 Cobra Illustrated just came out with a cover painting of AH-1G Cobra 67-15540 by Lew Drendel. It has several photos of your Cobra when it first reached Vietnam in 1968. I was the first pilot to fly it in combat. I assisted author Lew Drendel with stories of combat missions and some technical information with this aircraft.

Would there be any interest in adding/donating some of this information to your display about the history of 540?
